Viva La Vie Boheme

I have so much to recap, it's unbelievable.

First, I finally could officially say I survived 10th grade. It wasn't easy. I can't believe I'm a junior in hs. But not until I step through that door on the first day of school.

Well, here's the first thing that I must catch up on: SOCCER. I am terribly upset at what happened with the World Cup, and if you know me well enough (which prob no one on LJ does, sorry guys I lack the time to be on this thing), you'll know why. But I'd rather not go into that. My traveling league did not do so hot either, and now I am into the summer practice for fall soccer at my school. I'm buggin' out cause it's really hard now that I am on Varsity.

I went to my sophomore formal, which was pretty cool. The worst thing happened to me though. I almost thought my date cancelled on my at the last minute. See, my friend Matt said he'd go with me, but he has a gf. So the good thing is, his gf couldn't make it to the formal because of a competition that was supposed to be far away that she had for her competitive dance team. So he promised he'd go with me, but he never told her. When she found out, she flipped out that he was going with me. She even threatened to break up with him. Finally, he convinced her that everything would be ok, and she allowed him. But it was still scary. It's weird because I think I am starting to have feelings for him. After a whole school year too! I never thought it would happen. Has this ever happened to anyone? I think it's probably better that I don't do anything. I think secretly I am hoping they will break up. Which is mean.

The musical was so super cool. I love backstage crew! It's so much fun and we don't even do all of the work! Lol. The only bad part was some of the scenary started to fall on opening night. But it wasn't my fault thank gosh.

I am so tired from writing this, so I g2g. I also have plans to go to the mall so...

I have like no time to myself. So after all of the chaos is over, I promise I will keep up with ya'll. It's been one heck of a few weeks.

Here's a short re-cap I will elaborate on later:

1) Tory is okay!!! She's broken up with her boyfriend (well, actually, he broke up with her) and she's not pregnant. She's going to be in trouble for a good long while, but no boarding school yet.

2) I think I might have a date to the sophomore formal. Might is the key word.

3) Rent was absolutely amazing.

4) I have the best friends ever!

So much has happened in the past few weeks, it's crazy. I have been working on the school play, which debuts in May. Spring soccer traveling league is heating up. We have had a rediculous amount of wins, which has been super cool. And guess where I go this weekend? RENT!!! SO super cool! It will be the second time I get to go and I am going with my family.
Well anyway, alot of other not so great things have been happening too. Tory started dating this guy and he's a senior. Tory's parents are always around, so she sneaks out with him late at night when her parents think she's asleep. It is easy to do since her bedroom is on the first floor. He's a senior and he has a car. She's only been dating him for two months, which is since the time she has met him. They met at a party and he goes to public school. So this past week, she was acting all strange around me and Vicki (our other close friend). After school on Friday, she was crying by her locker when I was on my way to soccer practice. I ended up missing soccer practice after school because I had to stop her from crying so much. Eventually, she told me what was wrong.
Two Saturdays ago, Tory lied to her parents and told them that she was going to a party with me and Vicki. But she ended up going to a party with her boyfriend and there was alot of drugs and drinking. She said she tried some alcohol, but she really didn't like it. Next thing you know, they both ended up sleeping together. They used old protection and she left the wrapper in her pocket. It was Tory's first time ever sleeping with anyone (which I don't like anyway because I think you only do that after marriage) and this is her first boyfriend ever.
Well, her mom does the wash and Tory left all of the evidence for her mom to see. So now her parents are threatening to send her to boarding school because now they don't trust her and they are really over-protective. They didn't even know she has a boyfriend.Tory now also thinks she might be pregnant, because her monthly is a week and a half late. I thought it was weird how she had been pacing around all of this week and she kept checking her calendar like 50 times a day. This is too much drama. I just hope she is not pregnant and that her parents don't send her away. She is my best friend here and I do not want to see her leave.
In other words, the sophomore ball is coming up. I am so jealous at all of the girls that get to bring dates or have boyfriends. I have never even had a boyfriend. Is anyone else in this situation with me? Lol...well anywayz...sorry for the depressing journal entry.

Wow. I have been spending the past two weeks doing hardcore soccer practice for the spring league. I have also had standardized testing at school and getting ready for my school play. We are doing Once Upon a Mattress and I am in the stage crew. I have barely had time to myself and I am so tired. >0( I will catch up with everyone I friended in the next few days....sorry guys! You all must think I am so rude! In other news...I am going to see RENT on Broadway for Easter! Yippeee!!!!

Hi all.

I haven't written about anything in the past day...lol..woah, what happened? I was busy yesterday because I went to soccer practice right after school and then I went home and got ready for a school dance. It was alot of fun. I danced with a couple of guys, even though I don't like any of them really (maybe just as a friend, if that). Afterwards, I went with Vic and Tor to this girl's house we were invited to. I won't say her name...we will just call her Kim. She had alot of people from our school there, but I did not really know them all. Her parents were not home, which was bad because there was alcohol at the party and I don't drink. This guy named Den was really drunk and he started to put his arms around me. I got really angry at him because of his drunkeness and I ended up walking home with the girls. I can't stand drunk people. They aren't fun to watch or hang out with. So after we walked back to my house and watched my RENT DVD. Every time I see the movie, I love it more and more. I've seen it once on Broadway and I want to see it again! My parents said maybe I can for my 16th Birthday or something. But that's too far away. I was thinking about it last night and I feel that I am more like Mark (the female version at least). I will explain later. For now, I have to go to soccer practice.

Hi all.

I am so tired. I stayed up wayyy too late last night on live journal. I still have to add more people to my friends list so I can get a discussion together about Rent.

I just got back from indoor soccer practice so I could prepare for my traveling league. It's alot of fun. All of the guys in my school seem so rude now. I used to have this one good friend Matt and we hung out like all of the time. But now he's all into this cheerleader and he doesn't want to spend any time with me *makes sad face*. I have alot of friends though at school and I am really adjusting. I move so much that its hard to make permanent friends. But my two good friends at school, Vicki and Tory (they are both named Victoria? weird, huh?) have really strict parents so we can't really hang out alot without parents tagging along. Plus, they can't even have AIM (well I can't have that either) or Live Journals because of their parents. It's really hard being "new" all of the time. I just want to go to college already. Maybe I could go back to Texas or something for school...

I'm baaaaaaaaaaack! Great news! I found my first Live Journal community for rentheads just like myself! It's called _La Vie Boheme, just like my journal title! It was the first group I found. All I did was search the title using some lyrics from the soundtrack and VIOLA!!! I found it. I really hope I get accepted to the group. I added everyone to my friends list in that group, because I thought everyone's journals were super-creative and I loved how they are all truly dedicated rentheads. So if you are wondering why you are on my friends list, I think your Live Journal rocks! I am looking to spruce up my Live Journal, so if anyone has any helpful comments, suggestions, or hints, please leave me a comment. Of course, I also love to talk about Rent. So you can leave messages about that too.

I better get some sleep after I finish adding all of these cool people to my list!

Hi all. This is my first journal entry ever! I don't really know tons about Live Journal, so as soon as I learn I will make it look all pretty. Anywhoo...I saw Rent yesterday (both the 2 hour Making of Rent DVD) and the actual movie (for the 5th time! The first four I saw in the theatre). I stayed up until 1am and I am so tired now. Jonathan Larson was the most amazing person for dedicating his life to making this musical. I have to go now....tootle-oooo.
